Job Specifications
Our 2026 Summer Internship Program for Analysts strives to provide you with a dynamic, comprehensive experience, exposing you to a number of critical components which builds the foundation for Junior Capital & Private Equity. Over the 8-9 week summer internship, you will work closely with the team to gain exposure to Business Diligence, Underwriting Memos, Cash Flow Modeling, Deal Closing and Portfolio Management. In addition, at the end of your internship program you will complete your own Underwriting Memo and present your diligence findings and investment recommendation to other members of the firm.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities across junior capital, equity co-investment, and primary funds.
Assist in the preparation of internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
Assist with monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments.
Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.
Requirements
Preferred candidate will be a rising Junior or rising Senior (Class of 2027 or 2028) expected to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitively focused curriculum
Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ensure consistency of information
Superior Excel and financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
Knowledge of the middle market levered lending market, customers and competitors strongly preferred
Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex business and marketing concepts, effective and strong active listening skills
Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment
Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and gain credibility
Innovative and creative thinker; ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
