Contract Opportunity: PKI Expert - Cyber Security (Telco Sector)

We're looking for an experienced PKI Expert to join a leading digital services organisation on a contract basis. This role focuses on delivering secure Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and key management solutions across critical network and enterprise systems, supporting large-scale Telco platforms.

Outside IR35

Remote working (with occasional site visits)

Competitive day rate

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy PKI architecture for telecom and enterprise systems
Manage certificate lifecycle and key management processes using industry-standard tools
Integrate PKI into 5G, Core Network, IoT, and API security environments
Ensure compliance with ETSI, GSMA, and NIST cryptographic standards
Provide technical guidance on PKI, encryption, and authentication issues

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in PKI / cryptography / key management roles
Background in telecommunications, network security, or critical infrastructure
Strong knowledge of TLS, IPsec, mutual authentication, and HSMs
Familiarity with automation / scripting (PowerShell, Python) desirable
Understanding of PKI compliance, certificate policies, and lifecycle automation
