Job Title : Technical Writer

Location: Raritan NJ_Onsite

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain documentation for cybersecurity domains such as:

o Privileged Access Management (PAM)

o Identity & Access Management (IAM)

o Threat Detection & Response

o Forensics & Incident Handling

o Vulnerability Management

· Translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable content for technical and non-technical audiences.

· Create SOPs, runbooks, and compliance documentation aligned with standards like NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.

· Document security workflows, architecture diagrams, and system configurations.

· Support PRF (Position Request Form) documentation and domain/sub-domain mapping for hiring and onboarding.

· Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure documentation reflects current tools, processes, and threat landscapes.

· Participate in security reviews, audits, and training sessions to gather insights for documentation.

· Maintain version control and ensure timely updates post security changes or tool upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in technical writing for cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects.

· Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks.

· Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown, MS Word).

· Familiarity with SIEM, PAM, IAM, and endpoint protection platforms.

· Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation streams.
