Director of Marketing (SMB Business Software)

France, UK, or Germany locations | Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote flexibility

Our client is looking for an exceptional Director of Marketing with a passion for B2B demand generation and performance-driven growth, to lead and scale marketing efforts across a portfolio of European SMB Business Management Software products. As a Director of Marketing, you'll strategically align and oversee marketing initiatives across multiple channels accelerating momentum in Europe by driving pipeline growth and bookings.

Reporting directly to the SVP Marketing you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, and Product Senior Leaders as well as other senior leaders across the company.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving pipeline growth and accelerating customer acquisition. Your mission will be to:
Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy and budget to meet new logo and cross-sell revenue goals
Build and mentor a high-performing SMB or Mid-Market marketing team
Produce insights to assess pipeline performance, identify gaps, and develop GTM strategies
Design and implement lead generation campaigns across:
Digital advertising, SEO/SEM
Account-based marketing
Buyer directories and paid lead sources
Webinars, trade shows, and online/in-person events
Email marketing, social media, and nurturing flows
Content-based and signal-driven tools
Collaborate with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to align on inbound/outbound campaigns, lead quality, and prospect targeting
Work closely with product marketing, sales, and content teams to fuel campaigns with compelling assets (ads, emails, whitepapers, brochures, blog posts, and more)
Enforce data quality and campaign tracking in CRM and marketing automation platforms
Support M&A efforts by contributing to value creation plans and onboarding new brands

Experience

8+ years of experience in marketing, including leadership roles in B2B Software demand generation
Demonstrated success managing digital marketing and SEO strategies
Expertise in account-based marketing and working with SMB or Mid Market B2B Software product lines
Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial verticals is a plus
