Product Manager | £700 p/d Outside IR35 | London | Financial Services

Overview:

Our client, a global financial services company, is seeking a Product Manager with a product-focused mindset to shape and deliver key IM capabilities across the front, middle and back office of their international marketing business.

This hybrid role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery, giving you the chance to act as the link between Traders, Sales Managers, Operations and Technology. You will drive the discovery, definition and delivery of technology and process enhancements that support real commercial outcomes in a fast-paced global business.

Role & Responsibilities:

Define and own the product roadmap for risk and compliance systems supporting Marketing IM
Gather, prioritise, and refine requirements from risk, compliance, and trading stakeholders
Translate business needs into clear product specifications and delivery plans
Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for risk reporting, P&L attribution, and compliance
Drive the adoption of tools such as real-time dashboards, risk monitoring, and scenario analysis platforms
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) risk platforms
Ensure alignment of technology delivery with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements
Champion Agile best practices and contribute to shaping product governance and delivery standards
Act as the voice of the customer, promoting user-centric design and continuous improvement

Essential Skills & Experience:

5+ years’ product management or business analysis experience in commodities or capital markets
Strong track record working with front-office users in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Proficient in SQL, Excel and dashboarding tools with strong analytical skills
Experienced in Agile delivery and product discovery techniques
Hands-on experience with ETRM or CTRM or trading platforms
Understanding of risk concepts (market, credit, liquidity, operational)

Contract Details:

£600-£700 P/D
Hybrid working (2/3 days per week in London office)
Outside IR35
