Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Business Intelligence Analyst - Intermediate, based in Edmonton, AB, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, developing data models, designing and managing dashboards, and working with various Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The role also involves engaging in business analysis efforts to identify requirements and deliver actionable insights to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Business Analysis
Experience in Data Modeling and working with structured/unstructured data
Familiarity with Dashboard creation and management
Competence in using Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision in a hybrid work environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field
Knowledge of the IT industry and prior experience in a data-driven role is an asset
