About The Role

As a Marketing Specialist - Generative AI, you'll will play a key role in shaping the future of content creation on YouTube Shorts by supporting the GTM strategy for new creation tools. You will support a team of Product Marketing Managers and work very closely with internal cross-functional teams (Product, Creative, Social/Influencer, PR, Partnerships, Legal, and more). You will also manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring all campaigns and programs are executed seamlessly This is a highly collaborative role that requires a blend of high-level strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a passion for emerging technology.

Responsibilities

GTM Execution: Help drive coordination and execution of GTM plans for new creation and AI on YouTube Shorts. This includes managing timelines, coordinating with internal and external partners, and ensuring all assets are delivered on time.
Content Strategy & Development: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to identify content gaps, develop campaigns, and drive engagement across all channels.
Messaging & Positioning: Support the development of naming, positioning, messaging, and value proposition development for new product features
Project Management: Create and maintain project plans, track key milestones, and assess program performance

About You

The essentials:

4-7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the tech or media industry, with a focus on GTM strategies for consumer or creator products
A deep interest in and knowledge of the emerging generative AI landscape and its applications in creative tools
Proven experience collaborating with Product, Marketing, Communications, and Research teams at all levels, both internally and externally
Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple, and intuitive messaging
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and autonomous work style, with a highly organized and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Bachelors (Business, Marketing, or Creative discipline) or MBA degree

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range$100,000—$115,000 CAD
