Initiativ is a fintech building the first on-chain trading platform for carbon allowances in Europe. Our mission is to bring transparency, efficiency, and liquidity to the EU carbon markets by leveraging digital technology. We work with industrial players, financial institutions, and regulators to enable a seamless transition to open access trading floors.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site (or hybrid) role located in Paris for the position of Right Hand to the CEO / Operations Support Associate at Initiativ, a fintech developing a digital trading platform for institutional players in the climate and carbon markets.

The Right Hand to the CEO will assist in investor relations and fundraising, contribute to operational coordination and strategic analysis, and support the organization of events and communication initiatives. The role requires versatility, strong analytical skills, and close collaboration with the CEO to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering, or University) with a specialization in Management, Finance, or Entrepreneurship
Strong interest in financial markets, carbon markets, and digital finance
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools (Notion, Canva, Figma, etc.)
Excellent organization, autonomy, and communication skills
Professional fluency in French and English
A first experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a tech/fintech startup is a plus
