Job Specifications

Title: PowerEdge Server Resident

Location: Onsite Kings Mountain, NC

Duration: 640 hours

Visa: Must be authorized to work in the US

Dell Drug Test required: Yes

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect with a strong background in PowerEdge servers and Linux operating systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux development, installation, and management, with a focus on PowerEdge servers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure PowerEdge server solutions
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Linux development, including major distributions and command-line usage
Install and configure Linux on PowerEdge servers, including Ubuntu Desktop and Ubuntu Server
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PowerEdge servers into existing infrastructure
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerEdge server technologies and Linux developments

Requirements

Operating System expertise:

Basics of Linux
Introduction to Linux
Overview of what is Linux
Linux Essentials
Linux Overview and Installation
Installation of Linux
Learn the basics of Ubuntu
Install Ubuntu Desktop
Use the Linux command line
Description of Linux development and major distributions

PowerEdge server experience, preferably with XE models

Strong Technical Leadership And Communication Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
