Insight Global is partnering with a leading global consultancy to hire an experienced Finance & Accounting Professional for their Brussels office. This role requires strong expertise in Belgian compliance, statutory reporting, treasury, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of BE GAAP and US GAAP, proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Excel, and a solid understanding of VAT and corporate tax regulations.

This role is based out of the Brussels office on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This hybrid role (2 days/week onsite) offers the chance to work at the heart of a high-impact finance team, supporting both local Belgian entities and global operations.

As a Financial Senior Accountant, you will oversee the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions for all legal entities in Belgium, ensuring full compliance with local and global standards. You will manage statutory audits, tax filings, and risk controls, while providing technical guidance to the GFOS R2R team and collaborating with global finance stakeholders. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all Belgian local matters, working closely with both global and India-based teams to shape the finance and accounting agenda.

Your qualifications & experience

Strong accounting experience
Master’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
Expert knowledge in accounting standards and local Belgian Compliance and regulations.
Strong knowledge of BE GAAP, and statutory requirements
Strong knowledge of the VAT and Corporate Tax requirements in the services sector
Experience across finance functions, including experience in general accounting and familiarity with US GAAP, tax and treasury, financial systems, and financial reporting
Working Experience with SAP S4HANA
Proficiency to work with systems and willingness to learn more as required (i.e. , business objects, Powerpoint,)
Strong Excel skills
Excellent written and spoken English ((verbal and written communication) and French or Dutch language skills with meeting presence.
Strong organizational skills, orientation to detail and initiative
Ability and willingness to provide a wide range of financial services from routine to more complex financial management tasks
