Job Title: Data Science Gen AI Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Data Science Manager with deep expertise in Generative AI and Palantir Foundry / AIP to lead our AI-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will architect and operationalize enterprise-grade GenAI solutions—spanning LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning workflows—within the Palantir ecosystem. This leadership role combines hands-on technical depth with strong strategic vision and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and GenAI solutions using Palantir Foundry / AIP.
Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, LLM-based applications, and custom model fine-tuning.
Guide a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers in building scalable AI solutions.
Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI-powered systems.
Oversee ontology design, pipeline orchestration, and Foundry Workshop deployment for production-grade AI use cases.
Ensure MLOps best practices across model lifecycle management, monitoring, and retraining.
Stay current with emerging trends in GenAI, LLM frameworks, and Palantir ecosystem enhancements.
Present AI strategies and outcomes to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, including 3+ years in Generative AI and LLMs.
Proven experience deploying AI solutions within Palantir Foundry / AIP.
Strong programming expertise in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks (Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
Hands-on experience integrating AI workflows into Foundry Code Workbooks and AIP logic functions.
Solid understanding of embedding models, semantic search, and vector databases.
Familiarity with ontology modeling, data governance, and pipeline orchestration in Foundry.
Knowledge of MLOps, especially in hybrid or cloud-native environments.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise-scale AI implementations across multiple business domains.
Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, or LLaMA.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML workloads.
Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
