Overview
We are seeking a Python Engineer with strong hands-on experience in containerized application development and deployment using Kubernetes and Docker. In this contingent assignment, you will contribute to complex software engineering initiatives that involve large-scale systems, automation, and cloud-native architecture.
You will collaborate closely with client teams to design, build, and optimize distributed applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Python-based microservices in containerized environments (Docker + Kubernetes)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery and environment automation
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud-native scalability and resilience
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot distributed system issues
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for deployed services
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and engineering best practices
Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and sprint ceremonies
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Python development
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience with Linux-based environments and scripting for automation
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Nice to Have
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP)
Experience with Helm, Terraform, or Ansible
Monitoring and logging exposure (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers
