Job Summary
ZOLL Medical is in need of a Software Development Intern to support the data systems product suite. The Software Development Intern will support the software development engineering team in the design, development, and testing of software systems for software enhancements and new products.
Essential Functions
Translate designs into pixel-perfect implementations
Create and maintain components in our component library
Functionally implement said components in the software
Create and maintain working API’s
Create and maintain a living SQL DB. ( Tables, stored procedures, indexing, tuning, etc. )
Take pride and responsibility in delivering quality implementations
Identify, log and fix those pesky bugs
Keep others to a high standard by conducting code reviews
Write unit tests for the stuff you build
Asking too many questions is always better than asking too few
Being creative to propose creative solutions when faced with a challenge
Required/Preferred Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years of college experienced preferred
0-1 year of relevant work experience
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Javascript/Typescript
Vue.js
HTML (Focus on standard compliance and semantics)
CSS (SCSS/SASS, PostCSS)
Interaction development
C#, .net, SQL, Web API, RESTful Services, OOP
Experience with the process from idea to design to implementation preferred
Experience building component-based design systems preferred
Back-end or DevOps-related development preferred
Experience with agile frameworks preferred
Fluent English speaker/written
Effective communicator, both written and verbal
Proactiveness / Initiative
"Finishitive" - delivers things until the end
Ability to work autonomously

The Hourly Pay Rate For This Position Is
$27.00 to $27.00
