Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region. BEZANSON SCHOOL is seeking candidates who enjoy working in a student-focused and collaborative environment. We invite applications for a Temporary Educational Assistant (27.2-34 hours/week). The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred
CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset
Experience working with children in a classroom/organized setting is preferred
You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
You have the ability to work as part of a team.

Terms and conditions of employment are outlined in . Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $20.66/hour to $27.20/hour.
