Job Title: Application Observability & Monitoring Engineer

Location: Knutsford, UK (Hybrid – 2-3 days in office per week)

Job Description

We are looking for an Observability & Telemetry Specialist with strong experience in monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimisation across complex IT environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise supporting web servers, Linux/UNIX systems, and enterprise infrastructure, preferably within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement observability and telemetry solutions across applications and infrastructure.
Monitor and support Apache HTTP Server, Linux/UNIX systems, and web platforms.
Collaborate with IT Operations, Support, Security, and Network teams to maintain system reliability and compliance.
Administer infrastructure components including firewalls, NAC, and network security tools.
Build and maintain telemetry pipelines to enable real-time system insights and alerting.
Troubleshoot performance issues and support system stability across multi-environment deployments.
