Location: Hybrid - 60% Office 40% home Knutsford WA16 9EU

Duration: 29/05/2026

Rate: £ 492.00/ day on umbrella

Role Description

"We are seeking a skilled Observability and Telemetry Specialist to enhance visibility across our IT infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and deep expertise in monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement observability solutions across web applications, servers, and network infrastructure.

Monitor and support Apache HTTP Server, Linux/UNIX systems, and web servers.

Collaborate with IT operations, support, and security teams to ensure system reliability and compliance.

Administer infrastructure components including firewalls, NAC, and network security tools.

Develop and maintain telemetry pipelines for real-time insights and alerting.

Support application performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.

Required Skills:

Apache HTTP Server, Linux, UNIX, Web Server & Web Application Support

Infrastructure & Server Administration

IT Operations, Support & Security

Network Access Control & Security

System Administration & Software Development

Experience in Financial Services environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in observability platforms and telemetry tools

Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in finance

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills"
