Contract: Permanent / 37.5 hours per week
Salary: circa £49,000 plus bonus and car allowance (or cash alternative)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30
You will cover a wide range of areas within the South East (Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey) and the East/Midlands (Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire), and therefore we are flexible with the base location for this role.

Job Description

We are currently on the hunt for a fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Regional Finance Business Partner to join our Network Finance Team working across our regional depots. Working closely with Regional Finance Managers on specific projects, developing strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include;

Management of Weekly Financial P/ L including revenue analysis, monthly and year end reporting. While being able to consolidate the information into concise reports
Review of daily / weekly reporting and ownership of weekly P&L review
Be first point of contact for depot manager - holding daily weekly calls and creating and logging relevant action plans
Compiling annual/quarterly plans and presenting on these to Senior Management team members
Preparation of monthly Balance sheets
Identifying cost savings, efficiencies and risks for the region
Leading a team within the Network audit process whilst managing junior members through their roles
Review and redesign existing processes to facilitate decision making. Positive ‘can-do’ attitude is crucial for this role
Taking the lead on specific projects, ensuring we deliver ‘on time and in full’

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will hold an ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification. Please note, we can only proceed with your application if you are currently fully qualified.

We would also expect;

A willingness to challenge all reporting and operational practices
Be able to Business Partner at all levels within Network
Be able to self-manage their workload and prioritise tasks according to deadlines, importance and urgency.
Have a problem solving attitude with the drive to delivering results
Have strong analytical skills and be able to present results in a simple and clear manner
Be proactive in looking for continuous improvement in your area of responsibility and beyond
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Reporting Suite applications
Have a keen eye for detail and produce work to an excellent presentation standard
