Job Specifications

Senior Network Engineer - 6 Months contract - PS500 PD or Perm-PS60-PS70k plus benefits

Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh - 2 days onsite PW

Change Digital are currently supporting our financial client who are recruiting a Network Security Engineer. You'll be a key member of the IT Networking & Security team, responsible for maintaining and evolving core network and security infrastructure. You'll lead strategic projects and act as a subject matter expert in networking technologies. Key Responsibilities

Lead multi-disciplinary projects as the network engineering expert.
Provide technical leadership and escalation support for network-related issues.
Monitor SIEM and alerting tools, responding to security events.
Manage service requests related to networking hardware and technologies.
Scope, select, implement, and document new infrastructure technologies.
Proactively monitor network performance, availability, and security.
Support ISO-27001 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Technologies

Cisco Networking Architecture & Meraki
Network Access Control (Cisco ISE preferred)
Cloud Networking (Azure IaaS)
Load Balancers, VPN, SIEM, Vulnerability Management
Secure File Transfer & Email Gateways

Desirable Experience

Cisco DNA Center
Scripting (Cisco IOS, PowerShell, Python)
Microsoft Server, Hyper-V, PowerShell
Azure & Office 365
Strong interest in security infrastructure
