About the Opportunity

Optomi, in partnership with a large energy company, is seeking an Application Analyst II to support a cloud migration project.. This role will focus on system troubleshooting, application support, and testing across SQL Server, Oracle Cloud, and JavaScript-based customizations within MyTime and Workforce systems. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and technical skills, experience supporting enterprise HR/time-tracking systems, and thrives in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

• Serve as a key support resource for the MyTime application, triaging incidents and troubleshooting system issues via Service Hub / ServiceNow.

• Perform SQL queries and data analysis in SQL Server (on-prem) and Oracle Cloud (target platfo.rm).

• Use JavaScript to implement vendor-specific business rules and system customizations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve application and data integration issues.

• Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for MyTime upgrades.

• Support configuration and implementation tasks related to union and business rule changes.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 3–5 years of experience as an IT Application Analyst or equivalent technical support role.

• 1–3 years of hands-on JavaScript development experience.

• Proficiency in SQL Server (current environment) and working knowledge of Oracle Cloud (target platform).

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across enterprise applications.

• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Service Hub.

• Understanding of system testing, UAT, and change management processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
