Role Purpose

This role is responsible for leading the analysis, design, and delivery of technology solutions supporting Finance and Risk regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to implement strategic platforms and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead scoping and shaping of new initiatives within the regulatory reporting domain.
Define and manage product backlogs, epics, and user stories in line with Agile delivery practices.
Conduct business and technical analysis, solution design, and sprint planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, architects, and external vendors.
Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and are resilient, scalable, and operationally sound.
Manage delivery risks, RAID logs, production issue tracking, and reporting.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
Oversee vendor relationships and contract management.
Support transition of services into production and manage change deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years in technology delivery roles within banking or financial services, particularly in Risk and Finance domains.
Strong understanding of Credit, Market, and Liquidity Risk methodologies and reporting.
Experience with regulatory frameworks such as Basel II/III/IV and related reporting (e.g. CoRep, FinRep, LCR, NSFR).
Proven track record in designing and implementing data-driven solutions using modern architectures and tools.
Familiarity with SaaS/cloud platforms and system integration for regulatory data processing.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, Python, SAS, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
Experience managing Agile teams and delivering projects using Scrum methodology.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and IT controls.
Ability to challenge constructively, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
