Job Title: Full-Stack Engineer (Node/Python/Angular)

Location: Hybrid – Des Moines, IA (Relocation is fine)

Duration: Full-time position

Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Node.js, Python, and Angular to join our Agile development team in Des Moines. You’ll work on building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based applications using modern tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications.
Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle — from planning and coding to testing and deployment.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Contribute to automation, deployment, and cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and related services.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and user-friendly solutions.

Requirements

Strong programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with Python.
Hands-on experience with Node.js (Express) on the backend and Angular (v13+) on the frontend.
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and clean coding principles.
Experience building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Solid knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or MS SQL Server, and exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS preferred), including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and infrastructure automation using tools like AWS CDK.
Understanding of authentication/authorization methods such as OAuth or JWT.
Awareness of secure coding practices and handling of sensitive data.
