Job Specifications
We are seeking a Contract Program Manager to oversee multiple complex technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery across software development, infrastructure, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience leading large cross-functional teams and driving high-impact programs from inception through execution.
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates local to Northern Delaware)
Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple technology programs, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to align business goals and technology objectives.
Apply program management best practices to track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and drive results.
Oversee complex initiatives involving software development, infrastructure, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Manage project lifecycles leveraging methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
Utilize tools such as ServiceNow SPM, VersionOne, and Microsoft Project to monitor progress and report outcomes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across business units and technical teams.
Implement and manage risk, issue, and change control processes.
Present program updates and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in program and project management within the technology or software development industry.
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, complex programs on time and within budget.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams of 20+ members across multiple locations.
Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data security, and infrastructure delivery.
Expertise in project and program management methodologies and governance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications such as PgMP, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2, or ScrumMaster preferred.
