Job Title: Security Architect – Microsoft Security Solutions

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security solutions built on Microsoft’s security ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in shaping a secure and compliant environment, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Defender, Purview, and the broader Microsoft compliance and data protection stack.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and manage enterprise security solutions using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and related toolsets
Lead comprehensive efforts in cybersecurity and network security across cloud and hybrid environments
Conduct security toolset audits and recommend enhancements to align with Microsoft’s evolving compliance frameworks
Utilize tools like Compliance Manager, Communication Compliance, lifecycle management, DLP, and Information Protection to drive governance and security initiatives
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic sounding board for other internal security teams, offering design insight and problem-solving support
Collaborate with a seasoned team of 12 professionals, including senior security engineers, architects, and a team manager
Provide both high-level strategic guidance and direct hands-on involvement in solution implementation and management

Qualifications:

Proven experience designing and managing Microsoft-based security architecture
Deep expertise in Microsoft Security tools (Defender, Purview, Compliance Manager, DLP, Information Protection)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft-aligned security frameworks, data governance, and regulatory compliance standards
Experience in both cybersecurity and network security disciplines
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence across technical teams
Comfortable balancing hands-on technical work with strategic planning and leadership
