Job Specifications

Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to join a major global enterprise in Magog, QC. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware, server/storage provisioning and migrations, and preferably experience with automation tools such as Ansible. Previous exposure to cloud infrastructure is highly desirable.

You will support infrastructure projects across global datacenters and manufacturing plants, including:

Risk Management Projects: Infrastructure maintenance and reliability.
Integration Projects: System and technology integration efforts.
Business Projects: Delivered in collaboration with business stakeholders and DCTI teams.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver user stories and project milestones.
Participate in technical evaluations, consulting, and solution design for cloud and on-premises projects.
Ensure efficient project delivery aligned with architecture principles.
Clarify requirements to meet customer needs and expectations.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Facilitate smooth handover to operations and support teams.
Identify and document IT risks for mitigation planning.
Act as SME in one or more domains (Cloud, DAP, Storage, Backup).
Document and communicate deployment and operational processes.
Manage escalations involving complex incidents with third-party vendors.

Compensation:

$35/hr to $50/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
