The Senior Threat and Intelligence Manager , assigned to a specific client, is a key role within the Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC), based in the UK. This position involves leading intelligence efforts by establishing objectives and priorities for intelligence collection, analysis, production, and dissemination, with a focus on the most pressing threats and opportunities. The role oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of intelligence programs, develops policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) including analyst training, and is accountable for the overall performance of the intelligence team. The analyst will provide forward-looking, actionable intelligence, real-time monitoring, risk assessments, and incident management to safeguard the client's operations, facilities, assets, workforce, and reputation.

Responsibilities

Establish objectives and priorities for intelligence collection, analysis, production, and dissemination, focusing on the most pressing threats and opportunities.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of intelligence programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and update policies, standard SOPs, and training programs for intelligence analysts to maintain high standards of performance.
Lead and mentor a small team of analysts, holding accountability for their overall performance, development, and adherence to best practices.
Generate incident risk assessments for hazards like unrest, violence, terrorism, crime, natural disasters, or significant events that may disrupt operations.
Compile regular risk analyses on geopolitical events and other factors impacting the client.
Initiate threat assessments for new site selections, focusing on external environmental and security threats.
Monitor live events and threats, ensuring timely evaluation, alerts, and escalation per SOPs, including invoking incident management processes.
Collect and evaluate actionable intelligence on potential hazards, contributing to continuous improvement of procedures.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to communicate risks and support investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, International Relations, Political Science, or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred, with 5 years of experience in leading an intelligence analysis program, particularly within a corporate environment.

Ability to establish clear intelligence objectives, priorities, and resource allocation aligned with security goals, while managing workload across the function.
Experience managing, developing, and measuring performance of a small team of intelligence analysts against established metrics.
Experience working within an established, dedicated GSOC environment
Deep understanding of the intelligence cycle, with expertise in collection planning, management across multiple sources, and applying advanced analytical techniques for threat assessment.
Strong knowledge of intelligence product development tailored to different stakeholders.
Ability to identify, assess, prioritize, and anticipate emerging threats to organizational assets, including forward-looking analysis of physical security vulnerabilities and exploitation methods.
Skill in translating complex threat information into actionable intelligence.
Experience creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control mechanisms for intelligence functions, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
Ability to develop structured analyst training and professional development programs.
Experience in crisis management, real-time threat monitoring, and coordinating intelligence support during security incidents.
Strong decision-making and rapid assessment capabilities under pressure in developing situations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex findings to varied/non-technical audiences, building trusted relationships with internal/external partners, and managing expectations around intelligence limitations.
Knowledge of intelligence/security software platforms, data visualization/reporting tools, open-source intelligence (OSINT) methods, and secure communication protocols/information handling.
