Mandatory Requirements
University Degree in Healthcare Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.
Healthcare leadership experience (including cross-functional leadership connecting clinical, operational, and administrative decision-makers through BI or analytics systems), with proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams in public and private sectors, delivering large scale programs/projects in health systems, healthcare innovation, digital health, and/or clinical settings. 10+ years
Strategy and business planning experience in a healthcare environment, managing diverse stakeholders of all levels, defining goals/objectives, scoping and planning, delivering large scale programs/projects, mitigating risks, and identifying opportunities to grow business and future proof services. 10+ years
Experience managing a business intelligence (reporting and analytics) function or program within healthcare (i.e. hospital, government, public sector or private organization). 6+ years
Project management experience with a proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams, overseeing delivery of multiple projects in scope, on time, and within budget in a fast-paced environment. 8+ years
Desirable Skills and Attributes
Experience working in acute care, primary care, community care, or research setting, planning and implementing business, clinical and/or digital transformation projects. 10+ Years
Experience developing healthcare business intelligence strategies and roadmaps including defining objectives, utilization, data needs, data sources, tools, and integration approaches; evaluating existing business intelligence systems; determining internal and external data collection requirements to generate insights, track progress, determine benefits realization, uncover market trends, benchmarks, and forecast; to inform strategic, business, operational, and clinical decision-making and improvements. 6+ years
Experience developing and monitoring healthcare performance indicators for healthcare programs/projects at a health service organization or provincial/national levels; collecting and analyzing data; generating visually appealing, relevant and accurate reports and dashboards for multidisciplinary end-users to understand and interpret. 6+ years
Strong stakeholder management experience, engaging with public and private sectors, facilitating discussions and developing consensus amongst diverse stakeholders and teams. 10+ Years
Experience translating reporting requirements into tangible reports used for clinical operations, hospital operations and/or health system management (i.e. balanced scorecard development, KPI and OKR definition, CIS report writing/programming). 5+ years
Demonstrated experience working with a high-level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels. 10+ Years
Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to generate executive reports and materials, facilitation, and presentation skills. 10+ Years
