Fluid Lines Designer

Location: Desford, Leicestershire

Pay Rate: Up to £35 per hour

Contract Length: 12 months (potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Pattern: Fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 (some flexibility available)

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in designing hydraulic fluid line solutions for industry-leading construction equipment, helping to drive innovation and excellence across our product range.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a global, diverse, and collaborative team, contributing directly to new product solutions for one of the most respected names in the heavy equipment industry.

What You’ll Do

Design and route hydraulic fluid lines for heavy machinery and equipment.
Create and modify 3D CAD geometry to deliver high-quality engineering designs.
Manage engineering changes through data management systems (e.g. Teamcenter).
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure effective project delivery.
Prioritise and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

About You

You’re an experienced designer with a passion for precision engineering and problem-solving. You’ll have:

Strong experience in routing and designing hydraulic fluid lines.
Extensive 3D CAD knowledge (Creo preferred, but other CAD systems considered).
Proficiency in Teamcenter and Microsoft Office tools.
Industry background in heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace, or a similar mechanical engineering environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic global team.
