Project Manager - Aerospace

Location: Filton, Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)

Contract Duration: Until November 2026 (with possible extension)

Pay Rate:

£35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
£26.16 per hour (PAYE

Hours: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

IR35 IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Role:

Our global aerospace client is searching for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading aerospace programme. This is a new vacancy, offering the opportunity to work in a technical environment and collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders across procurement, engineering, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver project plans within a technical aerospace environment
Engage in technical discussions with engineers
Oversee configuration management and planning tools (e.g., MS Project)
Interface with procurement, engineering, and design teams
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Be customer-facing and communicate effectively

Requirements:

Aerospace experience and understanding of aircraft
Comfortable with configuration management tools (ICC/ICC CADB/ICC ACP)
Ability to hold technical discussions with engineers
Experience in delivering time, cost and quality objectives
Exposure to planning tools (MS Project or similar)
Strong communicator with project management awareness
