Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within the Aerospace Environment Ecosystem. This contract role is based onsite/hybrid in Bristol and focuses on driving successful execution of strategic initiatives in alignment with Airbus standards, methodologies, and operational practices.

Key Objectives

Ensure the effective delivery of complex projects from initiation through closure
Maintain full compliance with Aerospace processes, quality expectations, and governance frameworks
Provide clear communication and transparency to leadership, stakeholders, and clients

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans; ensure delivery within agreed parameters
Coordinate cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to achieve project goals
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to Airbus and industry standards
Oversee project quality, compliance, and documentation throughout delivery
Track and report KPIs, milestones, and progress updates to leadership and client teams

Required Skills

Strong project management expertise with a proven track record in complex technical environments
Any experience in commissioning will be beneficial
In-depth understanding of the Aerospace ecosystem, processes, and delivery frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
Robust risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project settings

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred)
Significant project management experience within the aerospace or defence sector
