Job Title: Senior Android Developer
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ months (possible extension OR conversion)
Overview:
Seeking an Android Developer with experience in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK to design, develop, and optimize high-quality Android applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin/Java.
Integrate RESTful APIs / GraphQL and collaborate with backend teams.
Implement MVVM architecture, Material Design, and AndroidX best practices.
Ensure app performance, security, and scalability across devices.
Write and maintain unit/instrumentation tests (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
Work with CI/CD, Git, Firebase, and SQLite.
Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and code reviews.
Requirements:
Strong in RESTful integration, testing frameworks, and performance tuning.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and mobile security.
Familiarity with React Native, Angular, or Ionic is a plus.
