Job Overview:
The Manager, Operational Technology Support Services a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Operational Technology (OT) systems across North American facilities. This role ensures the reliability, security, and innovation of industrial automation infrastructure while aligning with corporate goals, regulatory standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
This is a strategic leadership role supporting OT operations across North America, focused on secure systems design, infrastructure management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’d be leading high-impact projects for major oil, gas, and energy clients, helping shape the future of industrial cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate OT operations across North America.
Meet with corporate and operational stakeholders to define system requirements, priorities, budgets, and timelines.
Lead long-term planning for OT upgrades, legacy system replacements, and process optimization.
Team & Project Management
Assemble and manage cross-functional teams for OT infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
Supervise control systems integrators and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
Manage performance appraisals, training, scheduling, and development of OT personnel.
Budget & Risk Oversight
Control departmental budgets including CAPEX/OPEX for OT-related projects.
Provide input to Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and lifecycle support plans.
Maintain Break-Fix Support SLA delivery at 99% through effective resource and solution management.
Technical Operations & Integration
Lead integration of control LAN (PLCs) with business LAN/WAN/MES systems.
Oversee maintenance and repair of OT systems, control devices, utility systems, and safety systems.
Develop and manage preventative maintenance and reliability programs.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Ensure OT systems meet standards such as ISA 62443, NIST SP800-82, CSA Z246.1, and ISO 16484.
Act as a technical advisor on OT cybersecurity, system architecture, and industrial technology trends.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
Maintain and develop client/stakeholder relationships to support repeat project work.
Assist other departments in troubleshooting and applying technology in industrial environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Process Control, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in Automation and Process Control Systems, including leadership roles.
Minimum 15 years in industrial system integration, software engineering, network design, and virtualization.
Prior experience in Oil & Gas industries strongly preferred.
Proven track record in managing large-scale OT projects and cross-functional teams.
Certifications (Required or Preferred):
APEGA P.Eng. (Professional Engineer designation)
ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) or equivalent
Skills & Competencies:

Deep understanding of industrial protocols and cybersecurity frameworks.
Excellent communication, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive innovation while maintaining operational reliability and compliance.
