Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets and SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial products, data analysis, and business processes within the capital markets domain. Experience in Treasury or related functions will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineers to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform detailed data analysis and validation using SQL and other data tools.
Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Support reporting, data modeling, and analytics initiatives for Capital Markets functions.
Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets to drive business insights.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Front Office, Risk, Treasury, Operations) to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Participate in testing and implementation of system enhancements or data solutions.
Prepare documentation, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and business users.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst in financial services.
Strong understanding of Capital Markets – products such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, or FX.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
Experience with Data Mapping etc.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
