Job Specifications

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong SQL expertise and in-depth experience in Capital Markets to lead business and technical analysis across complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and data specialists to deliver high-impact solutions in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end business analysis for Capital Markets projects, from requirements gathering to solution delivery.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting across large datasets.
Partner with trading, risk, operations, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable system requirements.
Conduct data mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to support application enhancements and integrations.
Support system testing, UAT, and production validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.

Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, stored procedures, performance tuning, data modeling).
Strong understanding of trading products (equities, fixed income, derivatives), trade lifecycle, and regulatory reporting.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects in Agile or hybrid environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
