About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Report Developer to join our client's team and support the successful release of Business Intelligence reporting solutions. This role involves working closely with project teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needs and align with client standards.
Key Responsibilities
Use Power Query to extract data from multiple sources and select appropriate storage modes and connectivity types.
Profile, clean, and load data into Power BI.
Design intuitive, high-performing, and maintainable data models.
Create measures using M and DAX languages.
Optimize Power Query for high-performance data retrieval.
Develop and format Power BI reports, including navigation and cohesive data presentation.
Apply advanced analytics for deeper insights and enable data export when required.
Leverage Power BI Service workspaces for deployment and sharing.
Configure dataset refresh schedules and implement Row-Level Security (RLS).
Connect Power BI reports to on-premise data sources.
Understand user requirements and deliver reports into production.
Complete documentation in alignment with client standards.
Support testing teams during system and UAT phases.
Participate in knowledge transfer and special assignments as required.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven experience as a Power BI Report Developer.
Strong proficiency in M, DAX, and Power Query.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem and Power Platform.
Experience with SQL Server and Power BI datasets.
Expertise in data modeling, data visualization, and BI methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with performance tuning in Power BI (measures, relationships, visuals).
Familiarity with connectivity modes: DirectQuery, Import, and related considerations.
Experience with dataset refresh and Power BI service deployment.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with advanced analytics and statistical summaries in Power BI.
Familiarity with client documentation standards and IT governance processes.
Exposure to large-scale BI implementations and enterprise-level data architecture.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
