Brussels (Hybrid/Remote)

Our client, a leading Belgian consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Freelance AI Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects focused on data-driven innovation and intelligent automation.

Role Overview

As a Freelance AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI solutions for a variety of client engagements. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software developers, and business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, train, and optimise machine learning and AI models.
Integrate AI solutions into production systems and workflows.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements and ensure technical alignment.
Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in AI and data science.

Required Skills and Experience

Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Strong understanding of cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a bonus)
