Job Title: Accounting Intern (Part-Time, Hourly)

Job Type: Part-Time (Hourly Internship)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business who wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The intern will assist with accounts payable, data entry, vendor payments, and monthly reconciliations, while learning key accounting processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Support:
Assist with processing vendor invoices and payments
Help maintain accurate and organized AP records
Data Entry & Documentation:
Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
Reconciliations & Journal Entries:
Support the team in performing account reconciliations
Assist with month-end journal entries and close activities
Reporting Assistance:
Help prepare basic financial and operational reports
Provide ad hoc reporting support as needed

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior internship or coursework in accounting or bookkeeping
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, or NetSuite)

Schedule:

Flexible hours (10–20 hours per week) based on class schedule
