Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking to hire an Accounting Intern. The Accounting Intern will support the firm’s accounting and finance functions. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to launch their career in accounting and gain exposure to the private equity industry. The Accounting Intern will report to the Assistant Controller. We are looking for an individual to start in January of 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining the books and records of various Hidden Harbor related companies
Monitor and update account balances and generate account schedules
Generate operating reports and prepare invoices
Help prepare bank and other reconciliations
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis assigned by the accounting team
Help create and update presentations

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is in the early stages of their undergraduate education, majoring in accounting
Strong academic record with an understanding of accounting principles
Familiarity with US GAAP and internal controls
Capability to work as a member of the broader team, and work in the interest of the firm as a whole
Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting systems, a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Word
Strong integrity, ethics and professionalism
Familiarity with private equity or investment industry, a plus
