About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Marketing Consultant to lead strategic email marketing initiatives within our Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem. This role will serve as a lead consultant on a high-performing team responsible for managing email campaign execution, stakeholder relationships, and marketing operations across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution
Lead the intake and execution of email marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define campaign goals and develop strategic solutions.
Oversee campaign lifecycle from request to deployment, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business objectives.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Leadership
Serve as the team’s go-to expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially its email capabilities.
Review and manage campaigns within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and performance.
Enable proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of campaign issues.
Team Collaboration & Oversight
Act as the lead consultant, mentoring junior and senior team members.
Coordinate with offshore teams (Bangalore) for campaign builds.
Lead the proofing process and ensure quality control across all deliverables.
Technical Enablement
Utilize SQL for basic queries within Automation Studio.
Work within HTML email templates, making necessary adjustments and ensuring dynamic content is properly tagged and rendered.
Interpret campaign analytics and provide actionable insights.
Consulting & Relationship Management
Foster strong relationships with Lines of Business (LOBs).
Provide consultative guidance to internal clients, helping them achieve marketing goals.
Ensure timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise
Proven experience with email marketing features, dynamic content, tagging, and analytics.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification preferred.
Technical Skills
Basic proficiency in SQL and HTML.
Ability to troubleshoot and solution within Salesforce.
Project Management
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects (7–10 at a time).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Consulting Experience
Ability to translate business needs into marketing solutions.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and campaign optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a hybrid team structure (US and offshore).
Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC (preferred).
