Signum People is working with an innovative organisation in Bristol who is looking for a Cloud Architect to play a central role in their enterprise cloud architecture strategy and cloud transformation program.

As a Cloud Architect you will have a proven track-record working within enterprise architecture projects, helping to define Cloud strategy, architecture and roadmaps across enterprise organisations.

The key deliverables of the Cloud Architect position will focus on the Azure cloud, making strategic choices around cloud native and cloud agnostic tooling, cloud deployment and also organisational approaches to work within the Azure Cloud such as cost control, configuration management and automation.

To summarise, with an extensive knowledge of Cloud and Azure related analysis, design, and implementation, the Cloud Architect will have the following skills and competences:

Extensive experience defining Cloud strategy, architecture and roadmaps across enterprise organisations
Considerable experience working as a Lead Cloud Architect in enterprise architecture teams
Demonstrable knowledge of Azure Cloud architecture and strategy
Understanding of cloud native and cloud agnostic tooling and architecture
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Strong knowledge of change management

You will also have professional Enterprise Architect / Technical Architect certifications or equivalent training with demonstrable experience in collecting and transforming high level business requirements into full functional specifications.

The Lead Cloud Architect will also have first rate communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders and business users at all levels.

Please note this is hybrid-remote contract with an initial duration of 6 months, and two days per week required onsite in Bristol.
