Job Details
As the Head of Sales for Hanshow UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and market presence within the region. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with proven sales experience in retail technology or related sectors, as well as a strong understanding of the UK retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Hanshow’s global and regional goals.
Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the UK sales team.
Identify and prioritise key customer segments, with a focus on large-scale retailers and strategic accounts.
Business Development
Lead new client acquisition efforts and build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
Identify opportunities to expand market share and introduce Hanshow’s digital retail solutions to new sectors.
Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Team Leadership
Manage and grow the UK sales team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development plans.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, solutions, and technical support.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the main point of contact for strategic UK clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Oversee contract negotiations and support successful onboarding and project delivery.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business performance reports to senior leadership.
Contribute to product development and localisation by sharing market-specific insights.
Strategic Partnerships
Identify and build partnerships with industry stakeholders, technology providers, and consulting firms that can enhance Hanshow’s value proposition.
Support strategic bids and RFP responses for major accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
8+ years of sales and management experience with demonstrated track record
Successful previous experience as a sales or account manager, consistently exceeding sales targets
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
