Head of Operations - QHSE

Full-Time | Mid–Senior Level

We are delighted to be supporting a leading QHSE consultancy based in Aberdeen in their search for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, growing business where you will lead, mentor, and manage a team of QHSE Advisors, ensuring effective workload management, ongoing development, and consistently high performance. The role also offers strong progression potential for the right candidate.

Experience & Qualifications

Proven track record in a similar operations, supervisory, or team leadership role.
Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
Lead Auditor qualification in at least one discipline: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or 27001.
Full, clean UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and supporting a team of QHSE Advisors, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all client contracts.
Overseeing client engagement and work allocation, ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
Supporting business development activity, including client relationship management, tender support, and new contract mobilisation.
Providing expertise across Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Information Security & GDPR, with a focus on continual improvement and alignment with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001).
