A large, multi-site UK group undergoing a major digital and organisational transformation is seeking a strategic Head of Business Solutions. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the enterprise systems landscape and driving a major ERP consolidation programme.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in leading transformation programmes in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of navigating complex, multi-site operations while implementing ERP and business solutions.
The Opportunity
You will lead a growing Business Solutions function that spans ERP, CRM, HRIS, data, and group applications. The organisation is moving from decentralised, varied systems toward a fully integrated, common-platform environment.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on enterprise transformation, enjoys shaping systems and processes, and can lead teams through large-scale change in a manufacturing context.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing Business Solutions team across ERP, CRM, HR, data, and group applications.
Own the strategy, governance, and roadmap for business systems across multiple operating companies.
Drive and oversee a major ERP transformation programme (ideally SAP S/4HANA or similar tier-1).
Standardise and consolidate applications, processes, and data across the group.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure adoption and realisation of transformation benefits.
Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and lifecycle management standards.
Partner with group functions and divisional leaders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Build the data foundations essential for reporting, insight, automation, and future AI initiatives.
About You
Significant manufacturing and multi-site ERP experience
Proven transformation skillset: leading digital, ERP, or business process change at enterprise scale in manufacturing organisations.
Strong Business Analyst experience: requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution selection, and implementation.
Experience managing and developing high-performing teams through change.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with senior leaders across multiple sites and functions.
Deep understanding of data governance, master data, and foundations for automation/AI.
