The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with leaders, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to understand requirements and build high-quality JavaScript applications aligned with business needs. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise web applications and services, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leaders, architects, technical leads, and internal customers to understand and define project requirements.
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and services using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues; identify and implement effective solutions.
Create detailed project specifications, requirements documentation, and effort estimates.
Research and integrate new front-end or full-stack technologies to improve performance, developer efficiency, and user experience.
Support the development and adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise architecture and UI/UX standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1–5 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with hands-on experience building and deploying JavaScript-based applications in production environments.
Technical Skills:
JavaScript (ES6+) – Required
Front-End Frameworks/Libraries: React, Vue.js, or Angular
Node.js experience for backend or full-stack development
RESTful API development and integration
Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
Database experience: Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase, etc.)
Cloud deployment experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP (serverless, containers, CI/CD, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with TypeScript
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team environment
