We are currently recruiting a Low-Latency Java Developer to join the FX Algo team at a leading investment bank and contribute to an exciting new engineering programme.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have proven experience in designing and developing real-time, low-latency systems within FX or Equities pricing and distribution. This low-latency expertise is essential and must be clearly demonstrated on your CV.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team delivering a new greenfield programme
Participate in the design and development of new applications
Collaborate closely with front-office staff, including traders and business stakeholders

Required Skills

Strong Core Java design and development expertise
Solid understanding of design patterns
Experience building real-time trading systems, ideally within FX or Equities
Proven experience developing low-latency systems
Knowledge of technologies such as Disruptor, Aeron, Agrona, Chronicle or similar
Understanding of garbage collectors, off-heap memory, performance tuning, and locking
Familiarity with market data and FX or Equities products
