About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to support a dynamic manufacturing and project-driven environment. This position oversees inbound and outbound logistical movement of materials and completed products, while ensuring full compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong coordination skills, an understanding of international trade requirements, and the ability to work seamlessly across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of EPC Project Logistics Plans, including shipment lookaheads, risk assessment, and strategy.
Coordinate shipment progress and lead regular logistics review rhythms.
Optimise logistics planning to reduce shipment volumes, consolidate loads, and manage freight spend.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects, and Materials teams.
Support monthly reporting on logistics costs (inbound and outbound).
Act as a customer point of contact for EPC Project logistics matters.
Prepare and verify import/export documentation and maintain records in line with customs compliance requirements.
Ensure all goods movements are completed compliantly and in accordance with international trade regulations.
Assist in loadout coordination by arranging kick-off meetings, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution.
Maintain carrier compliance and participate in logistics meetings.
Enter transportation requests into the freight management system.
Serve as an escalation contact for transportation issues raised by requestors, suppliers, or 4PL partners.
Identify cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong understanding of Incoterms and international logistics.
Preferred knowledge of duties, tariffs, and trade compliance.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and initiative.
Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
Self-starter with analytical thinking and creativity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Willingness to learn internal logistics systems (training provided).
