Type: Part-time with option to go full time

Reports to: Head of Business Development & Partnerships

About You

We are looking for a hungry, high-energy Business Development Representative to join our team and partner closely with leadership. In this role, you’ll be on the frontlines of growth; prospecting, qualifying, and beginning conversations with subscription-based apps who would benefit from Encore. You’ll help build our pipeline, validate market feedback, and drive the early customer momentum that will fuel our next stage.

The ideal candidate will be local to Austin, TX, be a strong outbound seller, catching the attention of iOS apps and websites that have a subscription-based model. This individual will schedule meetings with prospective clients in order to understand their needs, and work closely with sales to close deals.

About the Role

Research, identify, and build relationships with target apps / brands that have subscription models or heavy trial/opt-out flows.
Cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone; follow up to schedule demos.
Generate meetings by means of proactive outbound prospecting
Participate in discovery calls to understand prospects’ pain points & how Encore can deliver value.
Work directly with sales to discover opportunities from leads
Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills

Qualifications

Experience in B2B sales / business development, ideally with mobile apps, SaaS, or subscription businesses high preferred, but not required
Knowledge of sales tactics and a willingness to learn
Strong communication and time management skills
Self-starter who can be creative and work both autonomously and in teams
