Role Description

We’re seeking a dynamic Operations Consultant to join our tight-knit, collaborative team in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. Due to our pre-product launch stage, the Operations Consultant will start as a contract role, transitioning later to an employee that oversees day-to-day operational activities, where critical activities will include optimizing resource utilization, managing to and tracking performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with FDCPA, CFPB, and other federal/state regulations. The role will collaborate closely with founding leadership to determine strategy and priorities and foster a culture universally focused on operational excellence and customer delight.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee operations for charge-off debt collections, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Design and implement processes from scratch in a fast-paced startup environment.
Manage and mentor a small, high-performing team, fostering a culture of empathy and innovation.
Ensure adherence to debt collection licensing and compliance regulations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize AI-driven workflows and financial wellness tools.

Qualifications

Deep experience in collections strongly preferred.
Proven track record managing teams and designing processes in early-stage startups.
Strong understanding of debt collection licensing and compliance.
Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, adaptable personality.
Thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment with a strong team-oriented mindset.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of compliance standards, risk management, and performance tracking.
Adaptability to dynamic environments and ability to drive change.
