Your new role As Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the organization and leading a team of 15 finance professionals. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, compliance and tax. You will play a key role in strategic planning, support investment decisions, and manage relationships with external stakeholders including lenders, auditors, and legal counsel.A critical component of this role involves deep expertise in Limited Partnership (LP) and General Partnership (GP) structures, as you will be actively involved in managing complex real estate investment vehicles. You will also be expected to implement and optimize financial systems and processes to support the company’s rapid growth and operational complexity.
What you'll need to succeed CPA designation with 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.Extensive experience in commercial real estate, ideally within a developer or property management environment.Proven track record managing LP/GP structures and real estate investment funds.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a mid-sized finance team.Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, development, and executive leadership.
