Our global solutions team is seeking an experienced Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician to join a major media and entertainment client supporting enterprise conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and live production environments. This team is responsible for ensuring seamless AV experiences across campus facilities and delivering exceptional support for both in-person and virtual meetings. You will provide hands-on technical assistance to end users-including senior-level executives-while working closely with AV engineering, operations, and vendor teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Our ideal resource combines deep technical knowledge of AV systems with outstanding customer service and communication skills. You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, coordinate with internal and external teams, and provide live support for events and Zoom broadcasts. This position offers an opportunity to work within a high-profile media environment where technology, creativity, and user experience intersect. The role requires the ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and ensure every meeting or event runs flawlessly.
This role will be performed 5 days/week on-site in either the Hollywood, CA or Burbank, CA areas.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key point of contact for conference room and AV system support across enterprise environments.
Monitor, maintain, and operate AV systems including Crestron, Cisco, Zoom, and Polycom solutions.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to video conferencing, displays, touch panels, cameras, and audio equipment.
Provide live support for virtual and in-person events, including Zoom broadcasts, corporate meetings, and training sessions.
Manage and resolve AV-related incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
Perform site surveys, assess existing rooms, and coordinate with AV Engineering for new builds, upgrades, or equipment moves.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable system performance and timely resolution of escalations.
Assist with deployments of new creative AV assets and maintain room documentation.
Deliver end-user training and ensure a high-quality experience for executives and employees across the environment.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise AV systems and collaboration technologies.
Strong hands-on knowledge of AV products and hardware such as Cisco, Zoom, Crestron, and Polycom.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting video conferencing systems, touch panels, and integrated control systems.
Familiarity with live production workflows, including support for streaming events, presentations, and hybrid meetings.
Proficiency with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for tracking and resolving support requests.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support senior-level executives and non-technical users.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work within conference room and event environments as needed.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating with AV engineering and vendor teams for room design, upgrades, or installations.
Ability to manage multiple requests and projects in a fast-paced media or enterprise environment.
Passion for staying current with AV and collaboration technologies.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and additional factors including skills, experience, and education. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
