About the Opportunity:

The organization is seeking a Sr. Developer Operations Engineer to manage and optimize the development, deployment, and operational processes of software applications. This role supports various development teams to streamline workflows, enhance system performance, and ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize development and deployment processes for efficient software delivery.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and reliability.

• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with development teams to support integration of new features and applications.

• Ensure seamless deployment and configuration of software solutions with cross-functional teams.

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and system changes.

• Prepare and present reports on system performance and improvement initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to security policies and best practices in system management and deployment.

• Implement security controls to protect data and infrastructure.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

• Mentor and train team members on best practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Developer Operations, DevOps, or related roles.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Ability to sit and use a computer frequently.

• Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment or materials.
